Sonia-Maria and her husband faced infertility early in their marriage. Through adoption, they became the parents of three beautiful children. Having grown up in Canada, she has called the Midwest her home for over a decade. She loves cooking, reading Stephen King novels, dancing and listening to Metallica and Toby Mac. She has been involved in pro-life work and has co-chaired a number of events. Before deciding to devote more time to her family, she managed a FertilityCare Center and taught the Creighton Method for five years. She has a degree in law, paralegal studies and a Master’s degree in Theology. In 2022, she joined the Sisters of Hannah, a mentorship program that supports women struggling with infertility. She also writes on their blog, The Fruitful Hollow, and serves as their Theological Editor.
