We put to rest some fears and replaced them with new hope

The next 30 days may change the future of our organization. Please read on…

You know how important the message of Natural Womanhood is, not just to you, but to many young couples and families. Here is what someone posted on our Facebook page after they heard our live presentation:

“We both came in with preconceived notions that this didn’t apply to us, but the thoughtful scientific approach swayed our thinking, put to rest some fears and replaced them with new hope. We are now very interested in using NFP for our future family. Thank you Natural Womanhood for your hard work and dedication to healthy and natural family planning!” – Jordan M.

We’re able to operate thanks to people like you who support this work. May I remind you what you accomplish as an advocate for fertility awareness based methods (FABMs) and supporter of Natural Womanhood?

  • You help save lives of women who would otherwise risk being harmed by a blood clot or breast cancer.
  • You help improve women’s health: knowledge replaces artificial hormones, with the possibility of treating infertility, recurrent miscarriages and other serious women’s health dysfunctions.
  • You help men and women become closer: improved intimacy, communication and mutual respect, which results in much lower divorce rates.
  • You help society as a whole with reduced divorce rate, happier moms, and parents closer to their children.

Few efforts can actually have such a broad impact on health, families and society. But how much does the work of Natural Womanhood really accomplish?

How Natural Womanhood is making a difference

No other nonprofit is working to bring together all NFP methods in a concerted effort to raise awareness and acceptance among the general public. Natural Womanhood strives to become a global online resource targeting young women and couples via online marketing, social media, blogging and video.

Through our Facebook page, which is followed by 10,000 fans, we have reached almost 1 million persons with engaging and educating posts in the past 12 months. Our weekly e-news goes out to over 2,000 people. Our young-and-hip video series called “Fertility Diaries” was viewed over 1,200 times.  The number of website users for the first three quarters of 2016 shows growth of 70%, and over 75,000 are projected to visit our website by the end of this year.

For the first time, Natural Womanhood’s work went beyond raising awareness this year. Many of you responded to our appeal to help women in Nigeria last spring. With your contributions we raised enough funds to train eight NFP teachers in Lagos. The promotion campaign that ensued in that city has already reached more than 2,000 people.

Yet, I am not happy with these results. 62 million women in the US are on some form of contraceptives. Millions suffer from untreated irregular cycles, PMS, PCOS, infertility. . . . I believe we should and can reach 10 times more readers with the Natural Womanhood message. So here is where things need to change. . . .

It is time for Natural Womanhood to take the next step.

We have set a partnership with a local marketing firm that will help us promote our message with paid ads for a fraction of what they would charge regular clients. With their help we can select and target women who are looking for birth control or infertility treatments and bring them to our site where they’ll get real help!

We have secured a strong partnership with FACTS, Fertility Appreciation Collaborative to Teach the Science. We’re in the process of training some of their 60 speakers to professionally give a presentation that we co-produced:  “Introduction to FABM.”

But there is more: a partner from Europe has pledged to help us create online systems to reach more individuals and allow us to benefit from their sophisticated direct marketing tools to reach further, at no cost!

Be ready to see Natural Womanhood touch many more lives next year.

Will we exist next year?

We can’t take advantage of these amazing partnerships without your help. In fact, I am not sure we can continue to exist without new funding next year!

We need support from people like you to continue creating and promoting the content that will save lives and couples. All of your donation will go to create awareness and help make FABM more accessible to women.

We need at least $30,000 to operate, and we are trying to raise $10,000 online by December 31. You can help us right now with a $10 or a $25 tax-deductible donation, which will only take a minute if you click here.

Or maybe you can help us with more….With a $50 gift we can boost an article posted on Facebook and insure that on average, 7,000 people will see the post and 200 people will read the full article!

If you can help with $100 or $125, you allow us to write, edit and illustrate an article for the blog like the 52 we wrote this past year. Again, such information can greatly improve the lives of those who read them, or even save a life, while changing society one person at a time.

Do you remember the article we wrote about blood clots back in October? We posted it on Facebook and boosted it for $180. As a result, the Facebook post was seen by over 40,000 people, warning them of the dangers encountered by women on the pill. Would you help renew this effective promotion?

Please consider a gift this year. Again, we won’t be able to continue this work without the contribution of our most faithful readers like you.

You know that your donation will help us give new hope to couples like Jordan and his fiancée. We continue to be encouraged by what people write about us, like this doctor below:

“As a physician I have seen many women suffer on hormonal contraception, even when a woman’s cycle isn’t ideal FAM provides a tool to figure it out and there are cooperative treatment approaches! Check out Natural Womanhood and the truth of amazing YOU!!”  – Faith D.

Or this person:

“This is the kind of knowledge that makes women powerful and have control over their bodies. This is pure, unadulterated feminism.” – Annemarie S.

We really, really appreciate your generosity and support.

Be well!

Gerard Migeon
