Quand je pense \u00e0 un film qui a chang\u00e9 le monde, L'homme de marbre<\/a> <\/em>d'Andrei Wajda me vient \u00e0 l'esprit. J'avais environ 15 ans lorsque je l'ai vu dans le th\u00e9\u00e2tre de jeunes de ma petite ville fran\u00e7aise. Ce film polonais de 1977 raconte l'histoire d'une jeune r\u00e9alisatrice qui enqu\u00eate sur la vie de Birkut, un ma\u00e7on super productif des ann\u00e9es 1950. Autrefois un h\u00e9ros salu\u00e9 par le gouvernement local, Birkut dispara\u00eet myst\u00e9rieusement avec toutes les archives publiques de sa vie, et la jeune femme se retrouve face \u00e0 un mur de r\u00e9sistance de la part de l'administration dans ses efforts de recherche.<\/p>\n

Le film de Wajda \u00e9tait une critique acerbe et efficace de la corruption et de la propagande dans la Pologne communiste. Il a fini par \u00eatre censur\u00e9 par les autorit\u00e9s polonaises et son r\u00e9alisateur a \u00e9t\u00e9 bri\u00e8vement emprisonn\u00e9. Le film relate indirectement le mouvement syndical clandestin Solidarit\u00e9, qui a conduit \u00e0 la chute pacifique du r\u00e9gime dictatorial en 1989. Il est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un film proph\u00e9tique qui a galvanis\u00e9 le mouvement et contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 lib\u00e9rer la Pologne de l'oppression.<\/p>\n

Je me demande si quelque chose de similaire n'est pas sur le point de se produire dans le domaine de la sant\u00e9 des femmes. Son mouvement clandestin est compos\u00e9 de milliers de femmes de diff\u00e9rentes races, religions et origines politiques qui se joignent \u00e0 une r\u00e9volution tranquille et pacifique appel\u00e9e \"mouvement de sensibilisation \u00e0 la fertilit\u00e9\". Une \u00e0 une, de plus en plus de femmes rejettent l'utilisation de la contraception hormonale pour apprendre \u00e0 suivre leurs cycles et d\u00e9barrasser leur corps des hormones et des dispositifs \u00e9trangers. L'establishment des soins de sant\u00e9 pour les femmes et l'industrie pharmaceutique ripostent en d\u00e9valorisant la efficacit\u00e9 r\u00e9elle de la sensibilisation \u00e0 la fertilit\u00e9<\/a>\u00a0et en promouvant activement les contraceptifs, m\u00eame l'IUDS, aux adolescents<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Et maintenant, nous sommes sur le point de voir l'histoire de la sensibilisation \u00e0 la fertilit\u00e9 dans un film. Rickie Lake et Abby Epstein, les producteurs du documentaire de 2008 \"The Business of Being Born\", produisent un nouveau documentaire bas\u00e9 sur le livre de Holly Grigg-Spall, \"The Business of Being Born\". Ricki Lake l'a vu aussi. Dans la m\u00eame interview, elle explique : \"Ce que nous avons fait pour la naissance, nous voulons le faire pour le contr\u00f4le des naissances : \"Ce que nous avons fait pour la naissance, nous voulons le faire pour le contr\u00f4le des naissances, et donner aux femmes plus d'informations et plus de choix. Un autre point commun important est la fa\u00e7on dont les femmes se sentent concern\u00e9es par ces histoires. Au cours des six derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, \"The Business of Being Born\" s'est transform\u00e9 en une campagne internationale. Mme Grigg-Spall a constat\u00e9 que la m\u00eame chose se produisait avec ses \u00e9crits : \"Le livre a commenc\u00e9 par un blog que j'ai \u00e9crit sur l'arr\u00eat de la pilule et sur mon exp\u00e9rience, sur ce que j'ai ressenti, sur la recherche d'une contraception alternative, sur l'apprentissage de mon cycle, etc. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce blog, de nombreuses femmes m'ont contact\u00e9e pour partager leur propre histoire. J'ai pris conscience de l'ampleur du probl\u00e8me\".<\/p>\n

Abby Epstein, la r\u00e9alisatrice, explique \u00e9galement qu'il n'est pas aussi facile d'obtenir un financement que s'il s'agissait d'un film du type Food Inc<\/em>Nous devons expliquer que nous ne sommes pas contre le contr\u00f4le des naissances ou contre la pilule. Au contraire, il est pour le consentement \u00e9clair\u00e9, pour le choix et pour la connaissance\". C'est pourquoi ils ont lanc\u00e9 un Campagne Kickstarter<\/a> pour obtenir un financement pour le film, et nous encourageons nos lecteurs \u00e0 envisager de le soutenir \u00e9galement.<\/p>\n

Ce film n'est pas la seule production sur le sujet. Il y a plus de deux ans, j'ai \u00e9galement commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler sur un documentaire. Au d\u00e9but, nous avons r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des interviews pour un court m\u00e9trage. Puis nous avons r\u00e9alis\u00e9, avant que Ricky et Abby n'annoncent leurs intentions, qu'un long m\u00e9trage \u00e9tait n\u00e9cessaire pour raconter l'histoire. Et c'est ce que nous avons fait. Apr\u00e8s les nombreuses aventures et les d\u00e9fis qu'un cin\u00e9aste amateur avec un budget ridicule peut rencontrer, je suis fi\u00e8re d'annoncer que nous avons termin\u00e9 le premier documentaire Natural Womanhood.<\/p>\n

Il s'agit de Histoires d'amour naturelles<\/em>. Il s'agit de trois couples qui, apr\u00e8s avoir rencontr\u00e9 divers probl\u00e8mes avec la contraception hormonale, passent chacun \u00e0 une m\u00e9thode naturelle de prise de conscience de la fertilit\u00e9 (FAM). Plusieurs professionnels de la sant\u00e9 apportent leur expertise sur les dangers des contraceptifs et les avantages des m\u00e9thodes naturelles.
