Le travail, l'accouchement et la p\u00e9riode postnatale sont souvent d\u00e9crits dans les m\u00e9dias comme des moments de d\u00e9sespoir et d'\u00e9puisement impossibles. Il y a une part de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 dans ces repr\u00e9sentations, car l'accouchement et la p\u00e9riode qui suit peuvent \u00eatre parmi les exp\u00e9riences les plus difficiles de la vie d'une femme.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C'est peut-\u00eatre pour cette raison qu'apr\u00e8s avoir donn\u00e9 naissance \u00e0 mon premier enfant, j'ai recommenc\u00e9 \u00e0 appr\u00e9cier les gestes chevaleresques tels que tenir une porte ouverte ou offrir un si\u00e8ge \u00e0 une femme. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Je viens de vivre l'enfer pour contribuer \u00e0 la perp\u00e9tuation de l'esp\u00e8ce, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Je pensais que<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Je suis preneuse de toute offre de r\u00e9pit !\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mais j'ai appris depuis qu'il existe des moyens de rendre l'accouchement et la p\u00e9riode postnatale moins douloureux. Vous ne me croyez pas ? Je comprends ; je n'y croyais pas avant d'en avoir fait moi-m\u00eame l'exp\u00e9rience. Je ne peux pas vous promettre qu'il n'y aura pas de douleur, mais voici trois fa\u00e7ons, appuy\u00e9es par la science, de faciliter ces p\u00e9riodes les plus difficiles pour une femme, chacune d'entre elles impliquant d'embrasser certains des aspects les plus naturels de la f\u00e9minit\u00e9 qui ont permis \u00e0 la race humaine de continuer \u00e0 vivre pendant des mill\u00e9naires.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"1-hire-a-doula\">1. Engager une doula<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ma premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience de l'accouchement n'a m\u00eame pas \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi mauvaise que celles de nombreuses autres femmes que j'ai entendues, mais elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 suffisamment \u00e9prouvante pour que, lorsqu'il s'est agi de donner un fr\u00e8re ou une s\u0153ur \u00e0 mon enfant, je sache que je devais essayer quelque chose de diff\u00e9rent. Une amie m'a dit qu'elle avait fait appel \u00e0 une doula pour l'assister lors de son accouchement \u00e0 l'h\u00f4pital et qu'elle avait trouv\u00e9 cela essentiel pour garder son sang-froid pendant l'accouchement. Cela ressemblait \u00e0 la version moderne de la Tente rouge, une tradition ancestrale o\u00f9 les femmes soutiennent les femmes dans leurs besoins les plus pressants, mais avec une technologie m\u00e9dicale \u00e0 port\u00e9e de main. J'\u00e9tais intrigu\u00e9e.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apr\u00e8s avoir rencontr\u00e9 une doula lors de ma deuxi\u00e8me grossesse et entendu des phrases telles que \"il est possible de vraiment... <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">jouir<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Je ne la croyais pas du tout. Mais je me suis dit que cela ne pouvait pas faire de mal d'essayer. Au fond de moi, j'avais un atout : je savais qu'\u00e0 tout moment, je pouvais demander une p\u00e9ridurale ou une autre intervention si je ne supportais plus la douleur. Elle \u00e9tait tout \u00e0 fait d'accord avec cela. Mais ce qui s'est pass\u00e9, c'est que j'ai re\u00e7u un soutien constant qui a miraculeusement rendu la douleur de chaque contraction g\u00e9rable, ce qui a conduit \u00e0 une diminution significative du sentiment de douleur aggrav\u00e9e, \u00e0 beaucoup moins de tension, \u00e0 un accouchement plus rapide et \u00e0 une exp\u00e9rience globalement plus positive que mon premier accouchement. En fin de compte, je n'ai eu besoin d'aucun m\u00e9dicament contre la douleur et je me suis sentie tr\u00e8s bien d'avoir v\u00e9cu cette exp\u00e9rience. J'avais du mal \u00e0 y croire !<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il s'av\u00e8re que la recherche montre que le soutien continu des doulas pendant l'accouchement apporte aux femmes et \u00e0 leurs b\u00e9b\u00e9s de multiples avantages. D'apr\u00e8s un <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/28681500\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c9tude de 2017<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Selon une \u00e9tude de l'Organisation mondiale de la sant\u00e9 analysant plus de 15 000 femmes dans 17 pays, \"un soutien continu pendant le travail peut am\u00e9liorer les r\u00e9sultats pour les femmes et les nourrissons, notamment en augmentant le nombre d'accouchements vaginaux spontan\u00e9s, en r\u00e9duisant la dur\u00e9e du travail et en diminuant le nombre de c\u00e9sariennes, d'accouchements vaginaux instrumentaux, d'analg\u00e9sies, d'analg\u00e9sies r\u00e9gionales, de scores d'Apgar faibles \u00e0 cinq minutes et de sentiments n\u00e9gatifs \u00e0 l'\u00e9gard de l'exp\u00e9rience de l'accouchement\". En d'autres termes, une doula peut aider les m\u00e8res qui esp\u00e8rent \u00e9viter des interventions telles qu'une c\u00e9sarienne ou l'utilisation d'instruments comme les forceps pour extraire le b\u00e9b\u00e9, voire une douleur excessive n\u00e9cessitant des m\u00e9dicaments analg\u00e9siques, \u00e0 atteindre ces objectifs.\u00a0<\/span>En outre, une \u00e9tude de 2011 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/28681500\">trouv\u00e9<\/a> que \"les effets positifs des soins prodigu\u00e9s par les doulas se sont av\u00e9r\u00e9s plus importants pour les femmes socialement d\u00e9favoris\u00e9es, \u00e0 faible revenu, c\u00e9libataires, primipares, accouchant \u00e0 l'h\u00f4pital sans accompagnatrice, ou ayant rencontr\u00e9 des barri\u00e8res linguistiques et culturelles\".<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il semble intuitif que le fait de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d'un soutien continu pendant le travail de la part d'une femme qui est d\u00e9j\u00e0 pass\u00e9e par l\u00e0 peut conduire \u00e0 une exp\u00e9rience plus positive, mais il est \u00e9galement formidable de le voir refl\u00e9t\u00e9 dans des donn\u00e9es empiriques. C'est pourquoi je n'ai pas \u00e9t\u00e9 surprise d'apprendre que l'h\u00f4pital de traumatologie de niveau 1 o\u00f9 j'ai pr\u00e9vu d'accoucher cet automne dispose d'une \u00e9quipe de b\u00e9n\u00e9voles. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrohealth.org\/obgyn\/pregnancy-care\">programme de doulas rattach\u00e9 \u00e0 ses services de travail et d'accouchement<\/a>-Il peut am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 de la m\u00e8re et du b\u00e9b\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"2-breastfeed-if-you-can\">2. Allaitez si vous le pouvez<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'allaitement est un sujet d\u00e9licat pour de nombreuses femmes. Alors que certaines femmes choisissent le biberon pour des raisons personnelles, de nombreuses femmes souhaitent allaiter mais rencontrent des difficult\u00e9s qui peuvent aggraver leur d\u00e9tresse dans la p\u00e9riode postnatale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3647727\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Papier 2013<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sur \"l'impact des doulas sur les r\u00e9sultats de l'accouchement\" a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que \"les m\u00e8res assist\u00e9es par une doula avaient quatre fois moins de chances d'avoir un b\u00e9b\u00e9 de faible poids \u00e0 la naissance, deux fois moins de chances de conna\u00eetre une complication \u00e0 la naissance pour elles-m\u00eames ou pour leur b\u00e9b\u00e9, et beaucoup plus de chances de commencer l'allaitement\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Non seulement l'allaitement maternel pr\u00e9sente l'avantage \u00e9vident de n'entra\u00eener aucun co\u00fbt financier, mais il est aussi un moyen d'am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de vie de la population. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aap.org\/en-us\/advocacy-and-policy\/aap-health-initiatives\/Breastfeeding\/Pages\/Benefits-of-Breastfeeding.aspx\">des avantages pour la sant\u00e9 de la m\u00e8re et du b\u00e9b\u00e9<\/a> sont bien \u00e9tablies. En plus d'augmenter l'ocytocine et d'aider la m\u00e8re et le b\u00e9b\u00e9 \u00e0 tisser des liens, l'allaitement peut r\u00e9duire les risques de d\u00e9pression post-partum et prot\u00e9ger les b\u00e9b\u00e9s contre de nombreuses maladies gr\u00e2ce aux anticorps pr\u00e9sents dans le lait de leur m\u00e8re.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En outre, l'allaitement constitue une m\u00e9thode naturelle pour espacer les naissances. Comme le souligne Cassie Moriarty <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/fabm-postpartum-nfp-lallaitement-previent-il-la-grossesse\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">explique<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'id\u00e9e que l'allaitement pr\u00e9vient la grossesse est en fait fond\u00e9e sur des donn\u00e9es scientifiques solides concernant l'influence de la lactation sur les hormones de la reproduction. Par <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/apprendre\/commencer\/\">l'apprentissage d'un MAF par un instructeur form\u00e9<\/a>Vous pouvez apprendre \u00e0 lire les signes naturels de votre corps pour savoir quand vous \u00eates fertile et quand vous ne l'\u00eates pas, ce qui vous aidera \u00e0 \u00e9viter une grossesse en fonction du moment o\u00f9 vous avez des rapports sexuels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bien qu'il soit plus facile pour les femmes d'apprendre \u00e0 \u00e9tablir un diagramme FABM et de lire plus clairement les signes de fertilit\u00e9 de leur corps lorsqu'elles ont des cycles menstruels plut\u00f4t que pendant la p\u00e9riode post-partum, cela peut toujours \u00eatre une alternative efficace pour les femmes qui veulent \u00e9viter d'avoir un cycle menstruel. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/repenser-le-sterilet-post-partum\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">st\u00e9rilet post-partum<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ou toute autre forme de contr\u00f4le des naissances susceptible de perturber votre adaptation hormonale naturelle pendant la p\u00e9riode post-partum.
