Sommes-nous sur le point de cr\u00e9er des ovaires artificiels ?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il existe des lacunes importantes dans notre compr\u00e9hension des probl\u00e8mes courants de sant\u00e9 des femmes, tels que <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/le-pcos-provoque-t-il-une-depression-les-symptomes-de-linfertilite-19\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">le syndrome des ovaires polykystiques<\/a> (SOPK) et <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/lendometriose-nest-pas-seulement-une-maladie-liee-aux-regles-douloureuses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">endom\u00e9triose<\/a>En raison de l'importance des ovaires et de l'omnipr\u00e9sence de la contraception hormonale comme rem\u00e8de universel \u00e0 tous les maux, il n'est pas surprenant que le syst\u00e8me reproducteur f\u00e9minin ait \u00e9t\u00e9 historiquement sous-\u00e9tudi\u00e9. Les ovaires, deux petits organes en forme d'\u0153uf situ\u00e9s de part et d'autre de l'ut\u00e9rus, sont le si\u00e8ge de la magie (de l'ovulation). <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/les-bases-de-la-fam-quest-ce-que-lovulation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ovulation<\/a>). Et pourtant, nous savons tr\u00e8s peu de choses sur <em>comment et pourquoi<\/em> les ovaires font ce qu'ils font. Les chercheurs prennent de plus en plus de mesures pour combler ces lacunes dans notre compr\u00e9hension du corps f\u00e9minin. Une \u00e9tape positive a \u00e9t\u00e9 franchie avec la mise au point r\u00e9cente d'un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biotechniques.com\/cell-and-tissue-biology\/the-first-blueprint-for-building-an-artificial-ovary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">atlas cellulaire<\/a> de l'ovaire humain. Ce que les scientifiques ont appris au cours du processus de cartographie de l'ovaire pourrait transformer les soins de sant\u00e9 des femmes gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d'ovaires artificiels.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-does-the-ovary-do\"><span id=\"what-does-the-ovary-do\">Que fait l'ovaire ?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 la naissance d'une fille, ses ovaires contiennent tous les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livescience.com\/health\/fertility-pregnancy-birth\/1st-atlas-of-human-ovaries-could-lead-to-fertility-breakthrough-scientists-say\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u0153ufs immatures<\/a> (environ 700 000) qu'elle aura jamais. La plupart de ses follicules, ou \"r\u00e9servoirs d'ovules\", sont situ\u00e9s dans la r\u00e9gion de l'ovaire. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biotechniques.com\/cell-and-tissue-biology\/the-first-blueprint-for-building-an-artificial-ovary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">couche externe de l'ovaire<\/a> et n'arrivera jamais \u00e0 maturation, mais mourra naturellement en vieillissant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lorsqu'une jeune fille atteint la pubert\u00e9, elle n'a plus que 400 000 ovules. \u00c0 partir de sa premi\u00e8re ovulation (c'est-\u00e0-dire la lib\u00e9ration d'un ovule \u00e0 partir d'un follicule) et pendant le reste de sa vie reproductive (\u00e0 l'exception de la grossesse, de l'allaitement ou de l'utilisation d'une contraception hormonale), les hormones produites par l'hypophyse dans le cerveau et dans les ovaires devraient provoquer la maturation d'un follicule (en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral) par cycle. Une fois que le follicule arrive \u00e0 maturit\u00e9, l'ovule est lib\u00e9r\u00e9 dans une trompe de Fallope, o\u00f9 il attend d'\u00eatre f\u00e9cond\u00e9. Tout au long du processus de maturation de l'ovule, l'hormone <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/quest-ce-que-lhormone-oestrogene\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u0153strog\u00e8ne<\/a> est produite et lib\u00e9r\u00e9e par l'ovaire.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s l'ovulation, le follicule vide se transforme en <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/les-bases-de-la-fam-quest-ce-que-le-corps-jaune\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">corps jaune<\/a>qui est responsable de <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/fam-basics-progesterone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">progest\u00e9rone<\/a> et une certaine production d'\u0153strog\u00e8nes pendant le reste du cycle menstruel (ou pendant le premier trimestre, si la femme con\u00e7oit un enfant).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-does-the-ovary-affect-reproductive-issues-like-pcos\"><span id=\"how-does-the-ovary-affect-reproductive-issues-like-pcos\">Comment l'ovaire affecte-t-il les probl\u00e8mes de reproduction tels que le SOPK ?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les deux hormones ovariennes, la progest\u00e9rone et l'\u0153strog\u00e8ne, affectent tous les organes reproducteurs de la femme <em>et<\/em> son \u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Par cons\u00e9quent, les troubles hormonaux affectent n\u00e9cessairement la fonction ovarienne. Le SOPK est l'un des troubles hormonaux f\u00e9minins les plus courants, affectant environ<a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/theme\/kystes-pcos\/?gad_source=1&amp;pg=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> 5% \u00e0 10% de femmes<\/a>. Elle se caract\u00e9rise par une ovulation irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re entra\u00eenant des cycles irr\u00e9guliers, un faible taux de progest\u00e9rone (d\u00fb \u00e0 l'absence d'ovulation), des niveaux anormaux d'androg\u00e8nes et une r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'insuline. Tous ces facteurs se combinent pour affecter n\u00e9gativement la fertilit\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre hormonal des femmes. Le syndrome pr\u00e9menstruel (SPM), un autre trouble menstruel courant, est caus\u00e9 par <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/categorie\/les-troubles-de-la-reproduction-et-de-la-menstruation\/desequilibre-hormonal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre des hormones ovariennes<\/a>. M\u00eame les sympt\u00f4mes de l'endom\u00e9triose sont influenc\u00e9s par les fluctuations des hormones ovariennes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-did-scientists-create-a-map-or-atlas-of-the-ovary\"><span id=\"how-did-scientists-create-a-map-or-atlas-of-the-ovary\">Comment les scientifiques ont-ils cr\u00e9\u00e9 une \"carte\" ou un \"atlas\" de l'ovaire ?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2024, des scientifiques de l <a href=\"https:\/\/news.umich.edu\/first-atlas-of-the-human-ovary-with-cell-level-resolution-is-a-step-toward-artificial-ovary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Universit\u00e9 du Michigan<\/a> a cartographi\u00e9 l'activit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9tique n\u00e9cessaire au d\u00e9veloppement d'ovules sains en r\u00e9alisant un \"atlas\" des cellules de l'ovaire f\u00e9minin. \u00c0 l'aide de tissus ovariens fournis par cinq <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livescience.com\/health\/fertility-pregnancy-birth\/1st-atlas-of-human-ovaries-could-lead-to-fertility-breakthrough-scientists-say\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">donneurs d'organes<\/a> qui \u00e9taient en \u00e2ge de procr\u00e9er, les chercheurs ont analys\u00e9 les s\u00e9quences d'ARN afin de cartographier le mod\u00e8le d'activit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9tique n\u00e9cessaire au d\u00e9veloppement de follicules sains, c'est-\u00e0-dire des follicules qui lib\u00e8rent le bon niveau d'hormones et produisent des ovules sains et matures (ce qui conduit finalement \u00e0 des grossesses saines !).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-could-this-ovary-map-lead-to\"><span id=\"what-could-this-ovary-map-lead-to\">\u00c0 quoi pourrait mener cette carte des ovaires ?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L'atlas des ovaires est bien plus qu'une simple \"carte\" \u00e9ducative des ovaires. Cette recherche pourrait un jour aider les scientifiques \u00e0 cr\u00e9er le premier atlas des ovaires. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biotechniques.com\/cell-and-tissue-biology\/the-first-blueprint-for-building-an-artificial-ovary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ovaire artificiel<\/a> avec des follicules fonctionnels. Les ovaires artificiels pourraient aider les femmes qui ont perdu leurs ovaires ou leur fonction ovarienne - en raison d'un cancer de l'ovaire ou d'un autre cancer de la reproduction, d'une insuffisance ovarienne pr\u00e9matur\u00e9e, d'un SOPK ou d'autres maladies ou troubles hormonaux - \u00e0 r\u00e9tablir leur fonction hormonale et, \u00e9ventuellement, \u00e0 se reproduire. Et comme les scientifiques du Michigan se sont principalement concentr\u00e9s sur les ovaires, ils ont pu constater que les ovaires \u00e9taient une source d'inspiration pour les femmes. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livescience.com\/health\/fertility-pregnancy-birth\/1st-atlas-of-human-ovaries-could-lead-to-fertility-breakthrough-scientists-say\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">d\u00e9veloppement folliculaire<\/a> dans l'ovaire, ils ont maintenant une meilleure compr\u00e9hension du type de d\u00e9veloppement de l'ovule qui conduit \u00e0 des grossesses saines.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actuellement, la seule option pour les femmes qui ont perdu leur fonction ovarienne est de r\u00e9implanter des ovaires qui n'ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s auparavant. <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/la-congelation-du-tissu-ovarien-est-un-meilleur-moyen-de-preserver-potentiellement-la-fertilite-des-femmes-confrontees-a-un-traitement-anticancereux\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tissu ovarien congel\u00e9<\/a>Les femmes qui ont besoin de tissus ovariens sont souvent oblig\u00e9es d'avoir recours \u00e0 la chirurgie esth\u00e9tique, ou d'extraire et de congeler leurs ovules avant le traitement (aucune de ces solutions ne garantit une grossesse future en bonne sant\u00e9). La cong\u00e9lation du tissu ovarien a un taux de r\u00e9ussite tr\u00e8s faible en ce qui concerne la survie des follicules et donc la restauration de la fonction de reproduction. Les chercheurs du Michigan pensent que les ovaires artificiels pourraient toujours provenir des ovules d'une femme. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livescience.com\/health\/fertility-pregnancy-birth\/1st-atlas-of-human-ovaries-could-lead-to-fertility-breakthrough-scientists-say\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tissu ovarien congel\u00e9<\/a>Les chercheurs ont \u00e9galement \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l'activit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9tique des ovaires, prise avant le traitement ou l'intervention chirurgicale. Ils supposent qu'ils pourraient utiliser leurs nouvelles connaissances sur l'activit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9tique des ovaires pour modifier les follicules de l'ovaire artificiel afin qu'ils aient un taux de survie plus \u00e9lev\u00e9, ce qui permettrait \u00e0 la femme de concevoir un enfant.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/newsletters\/2024-05-22\/mapping-the-human-ovary-cell-by-cell\"> <\/a>enfant biologique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-further-research-is-needed\"><span id=\"what-further-research-is-needed\">Quelles sont les recherches \u00e0 mener ?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Des recherches suppl\u00e9mentaires sont n\u00e9cessaires pour atteindre l'objectif ultime de la cr\u00e9ation d'ovaires artificiels, mais maintenant que l'on comprend mieux le d\u00e9veloppement sain des follicules et des ovules, il y a plus d'espoir que jamais pour les femmes souffrant d'une s\u00e9rie de probl\u00e8mes ovariens.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Et les scientifiques ne comptent pas s'arr\u00eater \u00e0 l'ovaire. En s'inspirant de l'atlas des ovaires, ils esp\u00e8rent cartographier les autres organes du syst\u00e8me reproducteur f\u00e9minin, en particulier l'ovaire. <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/les-bases-du-fonctionnement-de-luterus\/\">ut\u00e9rus<\/a> et les trompes de Fallope, au niveau cellulaire. En cr\u00e9ant un atlas plus vaste, les scientifiques esp\u00e8rent combler certaines des principales lacunes de la recherche sur le corps f\u00e9minin afin d'\u00e9largir notre compr\u00e9hension de ce qu'implique un syst\u00e8me reproducteur f\u00e9minin en bonne sant\u00e9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plus r\u00e9cemment, des chercheurs du Wellcome Sanger Institute et de l'Universit\u00e9 d'Oxford ont <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technologynetworks.com\/tn\/news\/endometriosis-map-shows-how-hormones-impact-the-condition-390552\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a cr\u00e9\u00e9 une carte<\/a> de la <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/tout-ce-quil-faut-savoir-sur-lendometre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">endom\u00e8tre<\/a>La cartographie de l'endom\u00e9triose, la muqueuse de l'ut\u00e9rus, pourrait am\u00e9liorer le traitement et le diagnostic de l'endom\u00e9triose. Dans l'id\u00e9al, les chercheurs des deux \u00e9tudes \"map\" travailleraient ensemble et utiliseraient les donn\u00e9es de leurs atlas pour continuer \u00e0 approfondir leur compr\u00e9hension du syst\u00e8me reproducteur f\u00e9minin et am\u00e9liorer le traitement des troubles de la reproduction en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-bottom-line\"><span id=\"the-bottom-line\">Le bilan<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette nouvelle recherche qui dresse une carte cellulaire de l'ovaire, les scientifiques sont mieux \u00e0 m\u00eame de comprendre la fonction ovarienne (en particulier le d\u00e9veloppement folliculaire sain), ce qui devrait permettre d'am\u00e9liorer le traitement des troubles de la reproduction chez la femme. Cela pourrait \u00e9galement conduire \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d'ovaires artificiels pour les femmes souffrant de troubles ovariens ou dont la sant\u00e9 ovarienne a \u00e9t\u00e9 affect\u00e9e par les traitements anticanc\u00e9reux. Des recherches suppl\u00e9mentaires sont n\u00e9cessaires pour bien comprendre le processus de d\u00e9veloppement de ces traitements, ainsi que les implications sanitaires ou \u00e9thiques qu'ils soul\u00e8vent.
