Des cycles \u00e0 l'anatomie en passant par la th\u00e9ologie morale, ma m\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 mon premier et meilleur professeur. Je lui en suis reconnaissante. Sans le fondement de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 auquel elle m'a expos\u00e9e dans ma jeunesse, je n'aurais peut-\u00eatre pas \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi ouverte \u00e0 l'exploration de diverses m\u00e9thodes de suivi du cycle et de planification familiale naturelle (PFN, \u00e9galement connue sous le nom de m\u00e9thodes de connaissance de la fertilit\u00e9 ou FAM), et mon mariage n'aurait peut-\u00eatre pas \u00e9t\u00e9 le cadeau inestimable qu'il a \u00e9t\u00e9 dans ma vie. La combinaison de cette base de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et de mon int\u00e9r\u00eat pour l'anatomie et la physiologie humaines m'a mise sur une trajectoire que je n'avais pas vue venir - et je m'en porte d'autant mieux.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsque j'ai commenc\u00e9 mes \u00e9tudes \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 franciscaine de Steubenville en 2011, j'ai su d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part que je voulais poursuivre une carri\u00e8re d'infirmi\u00e8re. \"Peut-\u00eatre que je serai infirmi\u00e8re p\u00e9diatrique ou infirmi\u00e8re de travail et d'accouchement\", pensais-je. Bien qu'il s'agisse l\u00e0 de bons et nobles d\u00e9sirs, Dieu avait pr\u00e9vu autre chose pour ma vie. J'ai obtenu mon dipl\u00f4me en 2015, en pr\u00e9voyant toujours de d\u00e9crocher un poste d'infirmi\u00e8re dans une unit\u00e9 passionnante d'un h\u00f4pital de Chicago. Lorsque j'ai commenc\u00e9 mon premier emploi \u00e0 l'\u00e9tage de la chirurgie ambulatoire dans un petit h\u00f4pital, je me suis dit : \"Je vais faire \u00e7a pendant un an environ, puis je pourrai passer \u00e0 l'emploi de mes r\u00eaves !\"&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-after-my-third-child-i-thought-my-nursing-career-was-over-nbsp\"><span id=\"after-my-third-child-i-thought-my-nursing-career-was-over\">Apr\u00e8s mon troisi\u00e8me enfant, je pensais que ma carri\u00e8re d'infirmi\u00e8re \u00e9tait termin\u00e9e&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme vous l'avez peut-\u00eatre devin\u00e9, j'ai pass\u00e9 plus d'un an dans ce service de chirurgie ambulatoire. J'y suis rest\u00e9e environ cinq ans. Au moment o\u00f9 j'\u00e9tais enceinte de mon troisi\u00e8me enfant, je me sentais \u00e9puis\u00e9e et j'avais besoin d'une pause. Mon mari m'a soutenue dans ma d\u00e9cision de prendre du recul et de me concentrer sur mon r\u00f4le de m\u00e8re au foyer. \u00c0 l'\u00e9poque, je pensais que ma carri\u00e8re d'infirmi\u00e8re s'arr\u00eaterait l\u00e0, du moins pour le moment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je voulais me concentrer sur mes enfants et, il faut bien l'admettre, j'\u00e9tais ravie de laisser derri\u00e8re moi la pression d'une m\u00e8re qui travaille. Apr\u00e8s seulement un an de \" retraite \" anticip\u00e9e, j'ai senti le coup de pouce de Dieu pour obtenir un certificat d'aptitude \u00e0 l'enseignement de l'anglais. <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/instructeur-de-la-methode-de-connaissance-de-la-fertilite\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">M\u00e9thode Marquette<\/a> Le programme de Marquette est un programme de formation \u00e0 la PFN, qui exige des instructeurs qu'ils soient titulaires d'une licence en sciences infirmi\u00e8res ou d'un autre dipl\u00f4me m\u00e9dical sup\u00e9rieur. \u00c0 l'\u00e9poque, je pratiquais Marquette dans mon propre mariage depuis environ deux ans et je sentais que Dieu m'appelait \u00e0 partager mes connaissances avec d'autres couples.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-i-began-using-nfp-years-before-i-became-a-marquette-method-instructor-nbsp\"><span id=\"i-began-using-nfp-years-before-i-became-a-marquette-method-instructor\">J'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 utiliser la PFN des ann\u00e9es avant de devenir instructrice de la m\u00e9thode Marquette.&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En repensant \u00e0 mon parcours avec la PFN, je peux reconna\u00eetre que j'ai m\u00fbri et que je me suis remodel\u00e9e au cours des premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de mon mariage. Lorsque j'ai entendu pour la premi\u00e8re fois l'expression \"planification familiale naturelle\" au cours de mes \u00e9tudes secondaires, j'ai compris qu'elle avait pour seul but d'\u00e9viter ou d'obtenir une grossesse. Je suis rest\u00e9e sur cette position pendant plus de dix ans.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le contexte de mon propre mariage, cependant, \u00e0 mesure que ma foi s'est approfondie et que j'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 en apprendre davantage sur la sant\u00e9 des femmes et la th\u00e9ologie du corps (c'est-\u00e0-dire la th\u00e9ologie et la philosophie de la sexualit\u00e9 humaine et de l'amour conjugal), j'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 voir dans la PFN plus qu'un simple moyen d'espacer les grossesses. Elle est devenue un outil que je pouvais utiliser pour mieux comprendre comment Dieu m'a cr\u00e9\u00e9e et le type d'amour qu'il m'appelait \u00e0 vivre dans mon mariage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-i-originally-learned-another-method-of-nfp\"><span id=\"i-originally-learned-another-method-of-nfp\">J'ai d'abord appris une autre m\u00e9thode de PFN<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Comment avons-nous choisi Marquette comme m\u00e9thode de PFN ? Nous avions appris une m\u00e9thode sympto-thermique apr\u00e8s la naissance de notre premier enfant, mais elle ne nous convenait pas. J'allaitais tout au long de la nuit, ce qui rendait mes relev\u00e9s de temp\u00e9rature impr\u00e9cis (ils se pr\u00e9sentaient en dents de scie). Cela a rendu cette m\u00e9thode sp\u00e9cifique stressante pour moi, et nous sommes donc pass\u00e9s \u00e0 la m\u00e9thode Marquette, qui se concentre davantage sur les hormones et moins sur la temp\u00e9rature.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La flexibilit\u00e9 de la m\u00e9thode Marquette a fait dispara\u00eetre l'anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 et j'ai pris confiance dans le suivi de mes cycles. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette confiance, j'ai entam\u00e9 le processus de certification pour enseigner la m\u00e9thode Marquette. Lorsque j'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 accompagner des couples dans le cadre de la PFN, j'ai \u00e9galement commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 voir comment la m\u00e9thode pouvait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour aider \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir des probl\u00e8mes hormonaux et donner des indices sur la sant\u00e9 et le bien-\u00eatre g\u00e9n\u00e9ral d'une femme.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-i-ve-found-that-being-a-marquette-method-instructor-goes-beyond-cycle-chart-checks\"><span id=\"ive-found-that-being-a-marquette-method-instructor-goes-beyond-cycle-chart-checks\">J'ai d\u00e9couvert qu'\u00eatre un instructeur de la m\u00e9thode Marquette ne se limite pas \u00e0 la v\u00e9rification d'un cycle.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>J'ai fond\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/simplynfp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Simplement PFN<\/a> \u00e0 la fin de l'ann\u00e9e 2021, et cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 une \u00e9norme b\u00e9n\u00e9diction dans ma vie. Au d\u00e9but, je pensais que mon coaching NFP serait simplement cela : apprendre aux couples \u00e0 suivre leurs cycles \u00e0 l'aide de la m\u00e9thode Marquette. J'ai rapidement d\u00e9couvert que cela deviendrait bien plus...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 percevoir le besoin s\u00e9rieux de fournir un soutien continu aux couples qui ont choisi la voie de la PFN. Beaucoup d'entre eux ont compris que les contraceptifs hormonaux \u00e9taient nocifs pour leur sant\u00e9 physique et spirituelle, mais ils avaient besoin de quelqu'un pour les accompagner et les aider \u00e0 naviguer dans l'\u00e9thique sexuelle au sein d'une culture de plus en plus la\u00efque. Je me suis donn\u00e9 pour mission d'\u00eatre ce soutien pour les couples, en affirmant leur d\u00e9cision de renoncer \u00e0 la contraception et en les encourageant \u00e0 poursuivre dans cette voie.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-this-is-the-most-fulfilling-part-about-my-work\"><span id=\"this-is-the-most-fulfilling-part-about-my-work\">C'est l'aspect le plus gratifiant de mon travail<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>C'est l'aspect le plus gratifiant de mon travail de formatrice en PFN. J'ai l'honneur et le privil\u00e8ge uniques d'accompagner ces couples et de les aider dans leur cheminement. Qu'il s'agisse de v\u00e9rifier les tableaux ou de discuter de th\u00e9ologie morale, j'aime \u00eatre \u00e0 la disposition des couples qui ont besoin d'un peu plus de soutien et d'encouragement car, soyons r\u00e9alistes, nous ne sommes pas oblig\u00e9s de faire les choses difficiles tout seuls !&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-becoming-a-marquette-method-instructor-has-benefited-my-own-marriage\"><span id=\"becoming-a-marquette-method-instructor-has-benefited-my-own-marriage\">Devenir instructeur de la m\u00e9thode Marquette a \u00e9t\u00e9 b\u00e9n\u00e9fique pour mon propre mariage.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le processus d'enseignement et d'accompagnement des couples dans leur cheminement vers la PFN et le suivi des cycles a eu un impact profond sur mon propre mariage, et ce, de la meilleure fa\u00e7on qui soit. Mon mari et moi avons pu accepter la PFN pour ce qu'elle est : un beau sacrifice qui nous respecte tous les deux en honorant le dessein de Dieu sur la sexualit\u00e9 humaine. Bien que les p\u00e9riodes d'abstinence pendant ma p\u00e9riode de fertilit\u00e9 puissent \u00eatre difficiles et frustrantes, nous avons pu communiquer efficacement, et les moments o\u00f9 nous sommes en mesure d'\u00eatre intimes n'en sont que meilleurs.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-i-see-why-even-with-its-pain-points-nfp-fam-is-still-preferable-to-using-hormonal-birth-control\"><span id=\"i-see-why-even-with-its-pain-points-nfp-fam-is-still-preferable-to-using-hormonal-birth-control\">Je comprends pourquoi, m\u00eame avec ses inconv\u00e9nients, la PFN\/FAM est toujours pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable \u00e0 la contraception hormonale.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le fait d'\u00eatre instructeur \u00e0 Marquette m'a \u00e9galement donn\u00e9 le don de la perspective. Les histoires que j'ai entendues sur les effets secondaires des contraceptifs artificiels ainsi que sur les implications morales qui en d\u00e9coulent sont autant de preuves que les contraceptifs hormonaux n'en valent tout simplement pas la peine. Si l'on ajoute \u00e0 cela le fait que la PFN peut contribuer au diagnostic et au traitement des probl\u00e8mes hormonaux et des troubles du cycle, il est clair que la PFN est le meilleur choix. Bien que l'abstinence p\u00e9riodique en p\u00e9riode de fertilit\u00e9 (pour les couples qui cherchent \u00e0 \u00e9viter une grossesse) puisse \u00eatre difficile, mes clients et moi-m\u00eame avons constat\u00e9 qu'elle est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable \u00e0 une contraception hormonale risqu\u00e9e et que, dans l'ensemble, les avantages de la prise de conscience de la fertilit\u00e9 l'emportent sur les inconv\u00e9nients.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-an-open-mind-is-the-first-most-important-thing-you-need-to-start-learning-nfp-fam-nbsp\"><span id=\"an-open-mind-is-the-first-most-important-thing-you-need-to-start-learning-nfp-fam\">L'ouverture d'esprit est la premi\u00e8re chose la plus importante dont vous avez besoin pour commencer \u00e0 apprendre la PFN\/FAM.&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>J'encourage tous ceux qui h\u00e9sitent \u00e0 s'engager dans la PFN \u00e0 l'essayer. Si vous l'abordez avec un esprit ouvert, vous commencerez \u00e0 voir comment le fait de travailler ensemble avec votre conjoint en \u00e9tablissant le calendrier de votre cycle vous rapprochera en tant que couple, et votre mariage en r\u00e9coltera les fruits. La fa\u00e7on dont les hommes et les femmes donnent et re\u00e7oivent de l'amour (m\u00eame dans l'\u00e9treinte conjugale) est r\u00e9v\u00e9latrice de la fa\u00e7on dont Dieu nous a cr\u00e9\u00e9s et dont il nous appelle \u00e0 donner et \u00e0 recevoir de l'amour dans la vie de tous les jours. <em>tous<\/em> de notre vie. Le simple fait de conna\u00eetre l'\u00e9tat de votre cycle et de disposer d'un moyen naturel d'\u00e9viter ou de mener \u00e0 bien une grossesse est une raison suffisante pour franchir le pas et apprendre une m\u00e9thode.
