Tu n'as pas d'acn\u00e9 ! Tu n'as pas de poils sur le visage !\"&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C'\u00e9tait vrai, je ne ressemblais pas \u00e0 une femme typique avec des <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/theme\/les-dysfonctionnements-du-cycle\/kystes-pcos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">le syndrome des ovaires polykystiques<\/a>ou SOPK. Mais, tout comme on ne peut pas juger un livre \u00e0 sa couverture, on ne peut pas juger la sant\u00e9 hormonale d'une femme \u00e0 son apparence.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 les protestations de mon ami, <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/resoudre-le-pcos-les-regles-irregulieres-avec-fams-pas-bc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">J'ai re\u00e7u un diagnostic de SOPK<\/a>. Mes diagrammes de fertilit\u00e9 et mes analyses sanguines montraient tous des sympt\u00f4mes caract\u00e9ristiques du SOPK, comme des cycles longs et des irr\u00e9gularit\u00e9s de la glyc\u00e9mie. Il s'av\u00e8re que je suis un exemple de \"SOPK maigre\".&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-insulin-resistance-pcos-and-weight-gain-nbsp\"><span id=\"insulin-resistance-pcos-and-weight-gain\">R\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'insuline, SOPK et prise de poids&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le SOPK touche 5 \u00e0 10% des femmes am\u00e9ricaines, il n'est donc pas surprenant qu'il se pr\u00e9sente sous toutes les formes et dans toutes les tailles. Outre le fait qu'il est difficile pour certaines femmes de maintenir un poids sant\u00e9, les sympt\u00f4mes du SOPK peuvent inclure des kystes sur les ovaires, des cycles longs et\/ou irr\u00e9guliers, une fatigue chronique, la perte ou la croissance de cheveux, l'infertilit\u00e9, ainsi que le diab\u00e8te de type 2 et\/ou la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'insuline.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme l'a \u00e9crit Allison Jung, assistante m\u00e9dicale, dans son article \"<em><a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/resistance-a-linsuline-pcos-fertilite-prediabete\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">R\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'insuline, SOPK et fertilit\u00e9<\/a><\/em>:\u201d&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\"La r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'insuline se produit lorsque nos cellules deviennent moins sensibles aux actions de l'insuline. Il en r\u00e9sulte une augmentation de la concentration d'insuline, de graisse et de sucre dans le sang. Cela entra\u00eene non seulement une augmentation de la glyc\u00e9mie (conduisant au diab\u00e8te), mais aussi une augmentation du cholest\u00e9rol. L'utilisation inad\u00e9quate du glucose entra\u00eene de la fatigue et la production de graisse abdominale. En outre, les niveaux \u00e9lev\u00e9s d'insuline entra\u00eenent des fringales et des exc\u00e8s alimentaires, ce qui favorise la prise de poids. Pour les femmes, ces d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibres, s'ils ne sont pas corrig\u00e9s, peuvent \u00eatre extr\u00eamement pr\u00e9judiciables \u00e0 leur fertilit\u00e9.\"\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour de nombreuses femmes atteintes du SOPK, il s'agit d'un cercle vicieux : La r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'insuline leur fait prendre du poids, ce qui aggrave les sympt\u00f4mes du SOPK. De m\u00eame, le surpoids peut \u00eatre associ\u00e9 \u00e0 une r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'insuline plus importante.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"lean-pcos\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">PCOS maigre&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On estime que 80% des femmes atteintes du SOPK ont un indice de masse corporelle (IMC) sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la normale, tandis qu'un plus petit nombre de femmes atteintes du SOPK ont un IMC normal ou faible. Comme les femmes atteintes d'un SOPK typique, de nombreuses femmes atteintes d'un SOPK maigre pr\u00e9sentent des irr\u00e9gularit\u00e9s au niveau de la glyc\u00e9mie (comme des <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/resistance-a-linsuline-pcos-fertilite-prediabete\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'insuline<\/a>) \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s au m\u00eame rythme que les femmes ayant un IMC \u00e9lev\u00e9. Toutefois, dans le cas d'un SOPK maigre, les sympt\u00f4mes de r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'insuline peuvent \u00eatre moins graves, ce qui peut rendre le probl\u00e8me plus difficile \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre et \u00e0 diagnostiquer.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En d'autres termes, si la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l'insuline peut certainement contribuer \u00e0 l'ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 chez les femmes atteintes du SOPK, elle ne se traduit pas toujours par une surcharge pond\u00e9rale. Les femmes atteintes de cette forme de \"SOPK maigre\" pr\u00e9sentent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement les m\u00eames sympt\u00f4mes et irr\u00e9gularit\u00e9s hormonales que les femmes en surpoids atteintes de SOPK, mais elles peuvent les ressentir \u00e0 des degr\u00e9s diff\u00e9rents.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mon d\u00e9r\u00e8glement glyc\u00e9mique se pr\u00e9sente sous la forme d'un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne appel\u00e9 hypoglyc\u00e9mie. En cas d'hypoglyc\u00e9mie, le taux de sucre dans le sang est inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la normale, ce qui peut entra\u00eener des sympt\u00f4mes tels qu'un rythme cardiaque irr\u00e9gulier ou rapide, de la fatigue, de l'anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 et de la faim.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je sais que je suis hypoglyc\u00e9mique depuis l'\u00e2ge de 15 ans, mais personne n'avait jamais fait le lien entre mes probl\u00e8mes de glyc\u00e9mie et mes cycles irr\u00e9guliers, jusqu'\u00e0 ce que je consulte un m\u00e9decin. <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/naprotechnologie-reponses-aux-questions-les-plus-frequentes-sur-napro-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Technologie de procr\u00e9ation naturelle (NaPro) Gyn\u00e9cologie-obst\u00e9trique<\/a>. Elle passait en revue avec moi la proc\u00e9dure de diagnostic du SOPK et a mentionn\u00e9 qu'elle souhaitait tester ma glyc\u00e9mie. Lorsque je lui ai dit que j'\u00e9tais hypoglyc\u00e9mique (ce que j'aurais d\u00fb mentionner lors de la pr\u00e9sentation de mes ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents m\u00e9dicaux), elle m'a dit que cette condition pouvait \u00eatre une preuve suppl\u00e9mentaire que j'\u00e9tais peut-\u00eatre atteinte du SOPK.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"the-impact-on-diagnosis-and-treatment\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">L'impact sur le diagnostic et le traitement&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pourquoi est-il important de savoir si une femme souffre d'un SOPK maigre ou d'un SOPK plus typique ? Tout d'abord, les femmes atteintes d'un SOPK maigre peuvent ne pas \u00eatre diagnostiqu\u00e9es aussi t\u00f4t que les femmes ob\u00e8ses atteintes d'un SOPK, car elles ne ressemblent pas \u00e0 la patiente typique du SOPK. En fait, il se peut que le m\u00e9decin ne commence \u00e0 envisager la possibilit\u00e9 d'un SOPK que lorsque ces femmes rencontrent des probl\u00e8mes de fertilit\u00e9. Pour la m\u00eame raison, les femmes atteintes d'un SOPK maigre peuvent voir leur diagnostic de diab\u00e8te retard\u00e9. L'incidence du diab\u00e8te non diagnostiqu\u00e9 est estim\u00e9e entre 3% et 10%.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si la perte de poids est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement une recommandation de premi\u00e8re intention pour les femmes atteintes du SOPK qui sont en surpoids ou ob\u00e8ses, une femme atteinte du SOPK maigre a par d\u00e9finition un poids sain. Cependant, la nutrition est un domaine commun\u00e9ment cibl\u00e9 pour le traitement de toutes les formes de SOPK. Au cours des trois derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, j'ai utilis\u00e9 un programme d'alimentation pour les femmes atteintes de SOPK. <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/comment-un-regime-anti-inflammatoire-peut-aider-a-equilibrer-les-hormones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">r\u00e9gime anti-inflammatoire<\/a> J'ai adopt\u00e9 un r\u00e9gime sans produits laitiers, sans gluten et avec peu ou pas de sucre transform\u00e9 pour m'aider \u00e0 g\u00e9rer mon SOPK. M\u00eame si la perte de poids n'est pas justifi\u00e9e, il ne faut pas oublier qu'une bonne alimentation est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment important du traitement des femmes atteintes d'un SOPK maigre. Les femmes atteintes d'un SOPK maigre peuvent \u00e9galement b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier des \u00e9l\u00e9ments suivants <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/le-pcos-provoque-t-il-une-depression-les-symptomes-de-linfertilite-19\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">des options m\u00e9dicales similaires utilis\u00e9es pour traiter le SOPK typique<\/a>tels que la progest\u00e9rone bio-identique et\/ou la <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/comprendre-les-techniques-chirurgicales-utilisees-pour-traiter-le-pcos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">chirurgie<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De nombreux prestataires de soins (et patients) se font une id\u00e9e de ce \u00e0 quoi ressemble une femme atteinte de SOPK. Il est important de reconna\u00eetre que chaque femme est unique, et que chaque femme atteinte du SOPK est unique. Il s'agit d'une maladie complexe que nous ne connaissons pas encore suffisamment.
