Bien que ces deux troubles soient r\u00e9els et pr\u00e9sents, la culture des r\u00e9gimes a brouill\u00e9 les pistes entre \"alimentation saine\" et \"obsession malsaine\". En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, les troubles de l'alimentation peuvent rev\u00eatir des aspects tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents, ce qui explique en partie pourquoi ils sont souvent n\u00e9glig\u00e9s. En outre, lorsqu'il s'agit d'infertilit\u00e9, les troubles de l'alimentation peuvent \u00eatre \u00e0 l'origine d'un nombre de cas estim\u00e9 \u00e0 1,5 million. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/health.usnews.com\/wellness\/articles\/2016-03-31\/the-lasting-toll-of-an-eating-disorder-fertility-issues\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">18%<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> de cas.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"healthy-eating-is-more-nuanced-than-diet-culture-realizes\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'alimentation saine est plus nuanc\u00e9e que la \"culture du r\u00e9gime\" ne le r\u00e9alise<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans le monde de la fertilit\u00e9, l'alimentation est un sujet de conversation important. Et ce, pour une bonne raison. Il existe des preuves substantielles qu'une alimentation \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e, riche en fruits et l\u00e9gumes frais, permet d'obtenir de meilleurs r\u00e9sultats en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9, et donc de fertilit\u00e9.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mais il n'est pas forc\u00e9ment \u00e9vident qu'un seul mode d'alimentation radical (\u00e9limination des glucides, r\u00e9gime c\u00e9to, v\u00e9g\u00e9talisme) soit la cl\u00e9 d'une sant\u00e9 optimale. Le corps de chaque femme est un peu diff\u00e9rent ! (Tout comme nos microbiomes !)&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En outre, l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des aliments sains, frais et biologiques n'\u00e9tant pas le m\u00eame selon la situation g\u00e9ographique et le niveau de revenu, la conversation peut s'av\u00e9rer quelque peu alambiqu\u00e9e. Pour beaucoup, leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 manger \"sainement\" est un probl\u00e8me plus complexe que celui qui peut \u00eatre r\u00e9solu par une simple conversation sur le choix d'une pomme plut\u00f4t que d'un jus de pomme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les femmes aux prises avec un trouble de la reproduction ou une infertilit\u00e9 se tournent souvent vers un changement de leur r\u00e9gime alimentaire afin de parvenir \u00e0 un \u00e9quilibre hormonal. Certaines d'entre elles se donnent beaucoup de mal pour suivre un r\u00e9gime alimentaire impeccable qui tourne rapidement \u00e0 l'obsession. Lorsque les troubles de l'alimentation deviennent compulsifs et envahissants, ils ajoutent du stress \u00e0 la vie de la femme. La triste ironie est que le stress est un facteur encore plus influent sur la sant\u00e9 hormonale et la fertilit\u00e9 que le choix d'une \u00e9picerie biologique plut\u00f4t que conventionnelle.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"the-gentle-nutrition-approach-for-better-health-and-fertility\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'approche de la \"nutrition douce\" pour une meilleure sant\u00e9 et une meilleure fertilit\u00e9<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'alimentation douce est un nouveau concept qui remet en question le statu quo de la culture des r\u00e9gimes. Elle permet aux femmes (et aux hommes !) de ressentir les effets de certains aliments sur leur corps tout en laissant une large place \u00e0 la joie et au plaisir de manger. En tant que conseill\u00e8re en lactation, je dis toujours que les b\u00e9b\u00e9s sont con\u00e7us pour que le lait soit une source de calories <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">et<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> confort. Sur le plan neurologique, nous d\u00e9veloppons le besoin de nous nourrir pour des raisons autres que le simple apport calorique. Peut-\u00eatre vous sentez-vous mieux en mangeant moins de viande ou en limitant les glucides. L'alimentation douce vous permet de faire des choix alimentaires qui vous font du bien physiquement dans votre corps, ce qui peut inclure quelques Oreos apr\u00e8s le d\u00eener !<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jayne Mattingly, un grand d\u00e9fenseur de l'alimentation douce, a lanc\u00e9 un programme d'\u00e9ducation \u00e0 la sant\u00e9. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/recoveryloveandcare.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">R\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de l'amour et des soins<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Elle est n\u00e9e de la gu\u00e9rison de ses propres exp\u00e9riences avec un trouble de l'alimentation. Elle travaille fr\u00e9quemment avec des femmes qui luttent contre un trouble de l'alimentation et qui sont confront\u00e9es \u00e0 l'infertilit\u00e9 et \u00e0 des probl\u00e8mes hormonaux. Parce que la sensibilisation \u00e0 la fertilit\u00e9 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les m\u00e9thodes FAM (Fertility Awareness Based Methods ou Natural Family Planning) aident les femmes \u00e0 \u00eatre plus en phase avec leur corps. Elles peuvent \u00eatre magnifiquement combin\u00e9es \u00e0 une alimentation douce pour aider les femmes \u00e0 gu\u00e9rir leur relation avec leur corps. J'ai interview\u00e9 Jayne pour en savoir plus sur son travail avec Recovery Love Care, sur les liens entre l'alimentation, les troubles du comportement alimentaire et l'infertilit\u00e9, et sur les raisons pour lesquelles nous avons besoin d'une conception plus large des troubles du comportement alimentaire.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"encouraging-awareness-of-what-eating-disorders-really-look-like\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Encourager la prise de conscience de ce \u00e0 quoi ressemblent r\u00e9ellement les troubles de l'alimentation<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recovery Love and Care a commenc\u00e9 comme un blog et s'est transform\u00e9 en ce qui est maintenant une pratique de groupe virtuelle pour ceux qui luttent avec des troubles de l'alimentation. Jayne a obtenu une ma\u00eetrise en conseil clinique en sant\u00e9 mentale avec une sp\u00e9cialisation dans les troubles de l'alimentation, et en tant que personne qui s'identifie comme compl\u00e8tement r\u00e9tablie d'un trouble de l'alimentation, elle a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 qu'il y avait une \u00e9norme lacune dans le traitement des troubles de l'alimentation. Elle a remarqu\u00e9 que les femmes \u00e9taient laiss\u00e9es \u00e0 l'abandon dans l'espace interm\u00e9diaire, n'\u00e9tant pas compl\u00e8tement r\u00e9tablies et ayant toujours besoin de soutien. \"J'ai remarqu\u00e9 qu'il y avait un \u00e9norme malentendu autour des troubles de l'alimentation....Avec ma formation et ma sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9, j'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 encadrer et \u00e0 coacher les personnes en cours de r\u00e9tablissement, en tant que soutien suppl\u00e9mentaire dans le cadre de leur traitement. Nous travaillons avec une base de donn\u00e9es logicielle conforme \u00e0 la loi HIPAA et nous offrons un soutien compl\u00e9mentaire pour fournir des services int\u00e9gr\u00e9s aux personnes en cours de r\u00e9tablissement.\"<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c0 l'heure actuelle, Mme Mattingly estime que le plus grand besoin d'\u00e9ducation porte sur ce que sont les troubles de l'alimentation. \"Les troubles de l'alimentation sont tr\u00e8s mal compris. La plupart d'entre eux ne sont pas visibles \u00e0 l'\u0153il nu... En tant que soci\u00e9t\u00e9, nous nous attendons \u00e0 ce que les personnes souffrant de troubles de l'alimentation aient une certaine apparence et \u00e0 ce qu'elles entrent dans des cases (....). Ce qu'on nous a appris en classe de sant\u00e9 n'est pas une repr\u00e9sentation exacte des troubles de l'alimentation !<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10616\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10616\" style=\"width: 187px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10616\" src=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jayne-Mattingly-187x280-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"187\" height=\"280\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10616\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jayne Mattingly, r\u00e9tablissement de l'amour et des soins<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La plupart des jeunes adolescents apprennent que les troubles alimentaires se manifestent sous la forme d'une anorexie, caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par une maigreur extr\u00eame et l'\u00e9vitement de manger, ou d'une boulimie, souvent d\u00e9crite comme une personne qui peut para\u00eetre \"en surpoids\" et qui lutte contre l'hyperphagie. Mais comme Mattingly ne correspondait \u00e0 aucune de ces cat\u00e9gories, son trouble alimentaire n'a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 diagnostiqu\u00e9 entre l'\u00e2ge de 9 et 21 ans. Cela a entra\u00een\u00e9 d'autres probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 physique et mentale.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"going-beyond-weight-loss-to-treat-infertility-and-hormonal-disorders\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aller au-del\u00e0 de la perte de poids pour traiter l'infertilit\u00e9 et les troubles hormonaux&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans le cadre de Recovery Love Care, Mme Mattingly travaille souvent avec des femmes qui tentent de se remettre d'un trouble alimentaire et qui sont confront\u00e9es \u00e0 l'infertilit\u00e9 ou \u00e0 d'autres probl\u00e8mes hormonaux. Elle affirme que \"si nous ne nourrissons pas suffisamment notre corps, celui-ci compense\". L'insuffisance pond\u00e9rale est incroyablement risqu\u00e9e et entra\u00eene la perte des r\u00e8gles et d'autres changements hormonaux radicaux\".&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce probl\u00e8me est souvent aggrav\u00e9 chez les femmes atteintes du syndrome des ovaires polykystiques (SOPK), un trouble m\u00e9tabolique et hormonal tr\u00e8s courant. Souvent (mais pas toujours), le SOPK s'accompagne d'un IMC \u00e9lev\u00e9 et de difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 concevoir. La perte de poids est la \"prescription\" la plus fr\u00e9quente pour am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 hormonale des femmes atteintes du SOPK et d'autres troubles hormonaux, mais \u00e0 quel prix ?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mme Mattingly r\u00e9fute l'id\u00e9e qu'une femme doit avoir un certain IMC pour \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme en bonne sant\u00e9. Elle a vu un grand nombre de ses clientes faire l'objet de discriminations en raison de leur poids. \"Les femmes qui ont un corps plus gros sont victimes de discrimination dans le monde m\u00e9dical\", explique Mme Mattingly. Leurs exp\u00e9riences et leurs relations avec leur corps et leur alimentation sont invalid\u00e9es en raison des attentes hostiles de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 quant \u00e0 l'apparence d'un corps \"sain\".<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\"&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"trusting-our-bodies-and-trusting-ourselves-to-overcome-an-eating-disorder-and-possibly-infertility-too\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Faire confiance \u00e0 son corps, et se faire confiance pour surmonter un trouble alimentaire - et peut-\u00eatre aussi l'infertilit\u00e9<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"En fin de compte, quel que soit votre poids, votre corps a besoin d'\u00eatre nourri ! s'exclame Mattingly. \"Si nous faisons trop d'exercice et que nous ne nourrissons pas assez notre corps, celui-ci fera tout ce qui est en son pouvoir pour nous sauver, ce qui signifie g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement l'arr\u00eat du processus de fertilit\u00e9. La confiance dans le corps est une voie \u00e0 double sens. Oui, il est important que nous fassions confiance \u00e0 notre corps, mais celui-ci doit d'abord apprendre qu'il peut faire confiance \u00e0 notre volont\u00e9 de le nourrir, de nous reposer et de prendre soin de nous.\"<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les deux axiomes principaux de Mattingly sont une bonne nutrition (sans restrictions) et un mouvement r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi (sans exc\u00e8s d'exercice). Notre corps tombera alors l\u00e0 o\u00f9 il a besoin d'\u00eatre... et c'est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement au-dessus de notre \"poids cible\"\", explique-t-elle.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"utilizing-fertility-awareness-methods-with-gentle-nutrition\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Utilisation des m\u00e9thodes de sensibilisation \u00e0 la fertilit\u00e9 avec une alimentation douce&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les m\u00e9thodes de sensibilisation \u00e0 la fertilit\u00e9 (FAM) peuvent aider les femmes \u00e0 se r\u00e9tablir d'un trouble du comportement alimentaire et, \u00e9ventuellement, \u00e0 lutter contre l'infertilit\u00e9. Tout d'abord, en sachant o\u00f9 elles en sont dans leur cycle, les femmes peuvent r\u00e9agir aux changements d'app\u00e9tit et savoir quand ces changements sont li\u00e9s \u00e0 certains bouleversements hormonaux. (Oui ! <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/la-contraception-fait-elle-prendre-du-poids\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Votre app\u00e9tit change tout au long de votre cycle.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) Deuxi\u00e8mement, les femmes constatent souvent qu'en dressant le tableau de leurs cycles, elles appr\u00e9cient d'une toute nouvelle mani\u00e8re tout ce que leur corps peut faire. Les GPA permettent aux femmes de travailler avec leur corps plut\u00f4t que contre lui.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il n'y a pas de mal non plus \u00e0 ce que les femmes <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/fr\/controle-hormonal-des-naissances-reponse-au-stress-chronique-anxiete-axe-apa-2019\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">niveaux de stress<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ont tendance \u00e0 diminuer lorsqu'ils peuvent vivre en harmonie avec leurs cycles et leur alimentation. Lorsque l'on souffre d'un trouble de l'alimentation, les f\u00eates d'anniversaire, les repas de Thanksgiving, les mariages - tous les \u00e9v\u00e9nements centr\u00e9s sur la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration et la nourriture - peuvent \u00eatre une p\u00e9riode de grande anxi\u00e9t\u00e9. La restriction alimentaire conduit souvent \u00e0 une fr\u00e9n\u00e9sie alimentaire quelques heures ou quelques jours plus tard, ce qui entra\u00eene un sentiment de culpabilit\u00e9 et, vous l'avez compris, une nouvelle restriction. Lorsqu'elles se r\u00e9tablissent, les femmes peuvent vivre et profiter de ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements, et leur cortisol diminue, ce que leurs hormones appr\u00e9cient aussi, bien s\u00fbr !<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Associ\u00e9e \u00e0 la connaissance de la fertilit\u00e9, la nutrition douce peut \u00eatre un moyen tr\u00e8s sain pour les femmes de mieux conna\u00eetre, aimer, gu\u00e9rir et accepter leur corps.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"De nombreuses jeunes filles
