Ten\u00eda unos 15 a\u00f1os cuando la vi en el teatro comunitario juvenil de mi peque\u00f1a ciudad francesa. Esta pel\u00edcula polaca de 1977 cuenta la historia de una joven cineasta que investiga la vida de Birkut, un alba\u00f1il superproductivo de los a\u00f1os cincuenta. Birkut, que fue un h\u00e9roe aclamado por el gobierno local, desaparece misteriosamente junto con cualquier registro p\u00fablico de su vida, y la joven se encuentra con un muro de resistencia por parte de la administraci\u00f3n en sus esfuerzos de investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_959\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-959\" style=\"width: 364px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Man-of-marble-poster.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-959 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Man-of-marble-poster.jpg\" alt=\"Hombre de m\u00e1rmol-poster\" width=\"364\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-959\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">El cartel de la pel\u00edcula polaca Man of Marble<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>La pel\u00edcula de Wajda era una cr\u00edtica aguda y eficaz de la corrupci\u00f3n y la propaganda en la Polonia comunista. Acab\u00f3 siendo censurada por las autoridades polacas y su director encarcelado brevemente. La pel\u00edcula narra indirectamente el movimiento sindical obrero clandestino Solidaridad, el mismo que condujo a la ca\u00edda pac\u00edfica del r\u00e9gimen dictatorial en 1989. Se considera una pel\u00edcula prof\u00e9tica que galvaniz\u00f3 el movimiento y ayud\u00f3 a liberar a Polonia de la opresi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Me pregunto si est\u00e1 a punto de ocurrir algo parecido en el \u00e1mbito de la salud de la mujer. Su movimiento clandestino est\u00e1 formado por miles de mujeres de distintas razas, religiones y procedencias pol\u00edticas que se est\u00e1n uniendo a una revoluci\u00f3n silenciosa y pac\u00edfica llamada movimiento de concienciaci\u00f3n sobre la fertilidad. Una a una, m\u00e1s mujeres rechazan el uso de anticonceptivos hormonales en favor de aprender a trazar sus ciclos y librar sus cuerpos de hormonas y dispositivos extra\u00f1os. El sistema sanitario femenino y la industria farmac\u00e9utica contraatacan desestimando la <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/actualizacion-medica-sobre-metodos-basados-en-el-conocimiento-de-la-fertilidad\/\">eficacia real del conocimiento de la fertilidad<\/a>\u00a0y promoviendo activamente los anticonceptivos, <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/nunca-dejes-que-tu-hija-se-ponga-el-iud\/\">incluso IUDS, a los adolescentes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Y ahora estamos a punto de ver la historia de la concienciaci\u00f3n sobre la fertilidad en el cine. Rickie Lake y Abby Epstein, los productores del documental de 2008 \"The Business of Being Born\", est\u00e1n produciendo un nuevo documental basado en el libro de Holly Grigg-Spall<em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sweeteningthepill.com\/\">Endulzar la p\u00edldora<\/a><\/em>. El libro en s\u00ed era, disculpen mi franc\u00e9s, \"<em>un pav\u00e9 dans la mare<\/em>\" (literalmente: una piedra en el estanque, agitando las cosas), y su autora dijo en una entrevista reciente que \"pronto se dio cuenta de que era realmente casi tab\u00fa criticar la p\u00edldora o la cultura en torno a la p\u00edldora\".  Mientras escrib\u00eda el libro, Grigg-Spall vio \"El negocio de nacer\" y reconoci\u00f3 el paralelismo entre la industria del parto y la del control de la natalidad.<\/p>\n<p>Ricki Lake tambi\u00e9n lo vio. En la misma entrevista explica: \"Lo que hicimos con la natalidad, queremos hacerlo con el control de la natalidad, y capacitar a las mujeres con m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n y m\u00e1s opciones. The Business of Being Born\" trataba de la alfabetizaci\u00f3n corporal y este proyecto es lo mismo: se trata de que las mujeres conozcan, comprendan y conf\u00eden en sus cuerpos\".<\/p>\n<p>Otro importante hilo conductor es la forma en que las mujeres conectan con estas historias. En los \u00faltimos seis a\u00f1os, \"The Business of Being Born\" se ha convertido en una campa\u00f1a popular internacional. Grigg-Spall vio que ocurr\u00eda lo mismo con sus escritos: \"El libro empez\u00f3 como un blog que escrib\u00ed sobre c\u00f3mo dej\u00e9 la p\u00edldora y mi experiencia al hacerlo, c\u00f3mo me hizo sentir, c\u00f3mo encontr\u00e9 anticonceptivos alternativos, c\u00f3mo aprend\u00ed sobre mi ciclo, etc\u00e9tera. Ese blog hizo que muchas mujeres se pusieran en contacto para compartir sus propias historias. Me di cuenta de la magnitud del problema\".<\/p>\n<p>Abby Epstein, la directora, tambi\u00e9n explica que intentar conseguir financiaci\u00f3n no es tan f\u00e1cil como si estuvieran haciendo una pel\u00edcula como <em>Food Inc<\/em>.: \"Tenemos que explicar que no es anti-control de la natalidad o anti-p\u00edldora. Por el contrario, est\u00e1 a favor del consentimiento informado, a favor del derecho a decidir y a favor del conocimiento\". Por esta raz\u00f3n, lanzaron una <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/92756815\/sweetening-the-pill-a-documentary\">Campa\u00f1a Kickstarter<\/a> para conseguir financiaci\u00f3n para la pel\u00edcula, y animamos a nuestros lectores a que consideren tambi\u00e9n la posibilidad de apoyarla.<\/p>\n<p>Esta pel\u00edcula no es la \u00fanica producci\u00f3n sobre el tema. Hace unas semanas escrib\u00ed sobre <em><a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/por-que-nos-encanta-miscontraceptions-the-film\/\">Conceptos err\u00f3neos<\/a><\/em>Un cortometraje fresco, personal, atractivo y divertido, que resulta bastante convincente y habla el lenguaje de los j\u00f3venes adultos en particular. Si no lo has visto, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miscontraceptions.com\/\">M\u00edralo<\/a> y escribir una nota a la joven (y brillante) directora, Cassie Moriarty.<\/p>\n<p>Hace m\u00e1s de dos a\u00f1os tambi\u00e9n empec\u00e9 a trabajar en un documental. Al principio, hicimos algunas entrevistas para un cortometraje. Luego nos dimos cuenta, antes de que Ricky y Abby anunciaran sus intenciones, de que era necesario un largometraje para contar la historia. Y as\u00ed lo hicimos. Tras las muchas aventuras y retos a los que puede enfrentarse un cineasta aficionado con un presupuesto rid\u00edculo, me enorgullece anunciar que hemos terminado el primer documental de Natural Womanhood.<\/p>\n<p>Se llama <em>Historias de amor naturales<\/em>. Trata de tres parejas que, tras experimentar diversos problemas con los anticonceptivos hormonales, se pasan a un m\u00e9todo natural de control de la fertilidad (FAM). Varios profesionales de la medicina aportan sus conocimientos sobre los peligros de los anticonceptivos y las ventajas de los m\u00e9todos naturales. Lo estrenaremos en San Antonio el 21 de julio y poco despu\u00e9s estar\u00e1 disponible en nuestro sitio web. M\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n al respecto pr\u00f3ximamente.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed que, todos los aficionados a la PFN y a la FAM: \u00a1al\u00e9grense! No creo que una pel\u00edcula pueda ser todo para todos; se necesitan muchas voces para ayudar a cambiar el mundo.
