Las cuatro hormonas reproductivas principales son <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/fundamentos-de-la-fam-que-es-la-fase-folicular\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hormona foliculoestimulante (FSH)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/naturalwomanhood-org-fam-basics-fase-lutea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hormona luteinizante (LH)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/que-es-la-hormona-estrogeno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Estr\u00f3geno<\/a>y <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/fam-basics-progesterona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Progesterona<\/a>. Al principio del ciclo, la FSH estimula m\u00faltiples fol\u00edculos (piensa en ellos como \"contenedores de \u00f3vulos\") para que maduren en uno de los dos ovarios del cuerpo femenino. A medida que los fol\u00edculos \"maduran\", el estr\u00f3geno aumenta r\u00e1pidamente.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este r\u00e1pido patr\u00f3n de aumento de estr\u00f3genos estimula el aumento de LH, lo que provoca que uno de los fol\u00edculos madure completamente y estalle, culminando en la liberaci\u00f3n de un \u00f3vulo en la trompa de Falopio (el acontecimiento conocido como ovulaci\u00f3n). Estas se\u00f1ales incluyen <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/fundamentos-de-la-fam-que-es-la-fase-folicular\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fases foliculares largas<\/a>, corto <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/naturalwomanhood-org-fam-basics-fase-lutea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fases l\u00fateas<\/a>menstruaciones abundantes o escasas, y demasiadas o muy pocas <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/fam-basic-que-es-el-moco-cervical\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">moco cervical<\/a> (por citar s\u00f3lo algunos ejemplos).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque el seguimiento del ciclo es la mejor herramienta inicial para <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/tema\/disfunciones-del-ciclo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">detecci\u00f3n de desequilibrios hormonales<\/a>Puede prestar atenci\u00f3n a otros indicadores incluso si a\u00fan no tiene experiencia en la elaboraci\u00f3n de gr\u00e1ficos c\u00edclicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00edndrome premenstrual (SPM), trastornos del estado de \u00e1nimo, completo <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/mujeres-deportistas-conocimiento-de-la-fertilidad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">p\u00e9rdida de ciclos<\/a> (amenorrea), e infertilidad o trastornos reproductivos pueden indicar un desequilibrio hormonal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pms-symptoms\"><span id=\"pms-symptoms\">S\u00edntomas del s\u00edndrome premenstrual<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00edndrome premenstrual (<a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/tema\/sindrome-premenstrual-depresion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PMS<\/a>) se caracteriza por una serie de s\u00edntomas, como cambios de humor, sensibilidad mamaria, hinchaz\u00f3n, fatiga y calambres. Por desgracia, muchas mujeres creen que el s\u00edndrome premenstrual es simplemente una parte inevitable de ser mujer. Esto est\u00e1 muy lejos de la realidad. Como Instructora de Conocimiento de la Fertilidad de la FEMM, les digo a mis clientas que registren sus s\u00edntomas del SPM en una escala del 1 al 10 (siendo 10 el m\u00e1s grave), porque <em>estos s\u00edntomas, aunque comunes, no son necesariamente normales<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los s\u00edntomas leves pueden indicar que tu cuerpo est\u00e1 atravesando cambios hormonales normales, como la subida de estr\u00f3genos antes de la ovulaci\u00f3n o la bajada de progesterona cerca del final del ciclo. Sin embargo, si los s\u00edntomas que experimenta antes de la menstruaci\u00f3n son tan graves que afectan a su vida cotidiana, debe consultar a un profesional sanitario formado en <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/tema\/medicina-reproductiva-reparadora-rrm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">medicina reproductiva reparadora (MRR)<\/a> que sabr\u00e1 c\u00f3mo abordar el desequilibrio o desequilibrios hormonales que pueden estar contribuyendo a su s\u00edndrome premenstrual.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-amenorrhea-nbsp\"><span id=\"amenorrhea\">Amenorrea&nbsp;<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La amenorrea es la p\u00e9rdida de ciclos menstruales cuando una mujer <em>debe<\/em> normalmente (es decir, no durante la menopausia, el embarazo o, en algunos casos, la lactancia). Como explica Lauren Fleshman en su libro, <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/resena-del-libro-good-for-a-girl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Bueno para una chica<\/em><\/a>La amenorrea inducida por el ejercicio es una preocupaci\u00f3n com\u00fan para las atletas y aumenta el riesgo de lesiones y otros problemas de salud.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La amenorrea es un indicador m\u00e1s evidente de desequilibrio hormonal. Pero la natalidad hormonal no \"regula\" los ciclos, sino que <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/sin-ciclo-con-la-pildora\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">los detiene a todos juntos<\/a> (incluso el sangrado que una mujer experimenta durante la semana de placebo de las p\u00edldoras anticonceptivas no es un verdadero periodo).
