Me miran sin comprender. Esto es lo que imagino que pasa por su subconsciente:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\"Eso no me puede pasar a m\u00ed\". (\u00a1Me encanta el esp\u00edritu invencible de la juventud!)<\/li>\n<li>\"Mi m\u00e9dico no me dejar\u00eda tomar algo perjudicial\". (\u00a1dif\u00edcil de creer!)<\/li>\n<li>\"Probablemente es s\u00f3lo una t\u00e1ctica de miedo para que dejemos la p\u00edldora\". (\u00a1Seguro que lo es!)<\/li>\n<li>\"El tratamiento del c\u00e1ncer de mama funciona, sobre todo para las j\u00f3venes\". (gracias a Dios, pero \u00bfa qu\u00e9 precio?)<\/li>\n<li>\"Tengo que usar algo. Todo tiene riesgos\". (s\u00ed, pero sigue leyendo...)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Estos pensamientos est\u00e1n perfectamente justificados dado lo que saben y lo que esperan. Yo tambi\u00e9n soy una persona bastante confiada y me gusta creer lo que me parece l\u00f3gico. Pero temo que se equivoquen.  Es muy dif\u00edcil imaginar pasar por un c\u00e1ncer cuando estamos sanos y somos j\u00f3venes, e imaginar el sufrimiento que causa. De hecho, la gente no habla mucho de esa parte. S\u00ed, las mujeres se recuperan del c\u00e1ncer de mama, pero \u00bfqu\u00e9 tienen que pasar?<\/p>\n<p>Ech\u00e9 un vistazo r\u00e1pido leyendo historias en Internet. He aqu\u00ed <a href=\"http:\/\/naturalwomanhood.us7.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5f3e70721e5e9b79cea11fbe5&amp;id=690953b986&amp;e=5f480fa70c\">Sheyanne B<\/a>., que contrajo c\u00e1ncer cuando ten\u00eda 31 a\u00f1os: \u00a0 <em>\"Mentir\u00eda si dijera que no ha sido lo m\u00e1s duro por lo que he pasado. Estuve incre\u00edblemente enfermo. Me quem\u00e9. Algunos d\u00edas no pod\u00eda andar. Perd\u00ed el pelo. Perd\u00ed mi independencia. Pero el dolor f\u00edsico no ten\u00eda nada que ver con el dolor que experiment\u00e9 al ver que mis seres queridos ten\u00edan que quedarse de brazos cruzados y verme sufrir. Tengo el marido m\u00e1s incre\u00edble del mundo. Luch\u00f3 a mi lado en todo momento. Pero ning\u00fan marido deber\u00eda tener que llevar a su mujer al ba\u00f1o porque est\u00e1 demasiado enferma para caminar sola. Y ninguna madre deber\u00eda tener que temer si va a tener que asistir al funeral de su hija. Y ninguna hermana deber\u00eda preguntarse si su hija por nacer tendr\u00e1 una t\u00eda con la que crecer.<\/em>.\" Luego lee los de cirug\u00eda, extirpaci\u00f3n de pechos, complicaciones....<\/p>\n<p>Estos son algunos de los <a href=\"http:\/\/naturalwomanhood.us7.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5f3e70721e5e9b79cea11fbe5&amp;id=d6ec2e3df4&amp;e=5f480fa70c\">efectos secundarios de la radiaci\u00f3n<\/a>: \"Los efectos secundarios de la radioterapia en el t\u00f3rax pueden incluir dificultad para tragar, falta de aliento, dolor en las mamas o los pezones y rigidez en los hombros. Algunas personas pueden desarrollar tos, fiebre y sensaci\u00f3n de plenitud en el pecho que se diagnostica como neumonitis por radiaci\u00f3n, una inflamaci\u00f3n del pulm\u00f3n que se produce entre dos semanas y seis meses despu\u00e9s de la radioterapia.\"<\/p>\n<p>Y aqu\u00ed est\u00e1n los <a href=\"http:\/\/naturalwomanhood.us7.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5f3e70721e5e9b79cea11fbe5&amp;id=ca6ff62ed6&amp;e=5f480fa70c\">efectos secundarios de la quimioterapia<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>anemia\/recuento bajo de gl\u00f3bulos rojos<\/li>\n<li>diarrea<\/li>\n<li>fatiga<\/li>\n<li>problemas de fertilidad<\/li>\n<li>cambios en el cabello (=p\u00e9rdida)<\/li>\n<li>infecci\u00f3n<\/li>\n<li>p\u00e9rdida de memoria<\/li>\n<li>menopausia y s\u00edntomas menop\u00e1usicos<\/li>\n<li>llagas en la boca y la garganta<\/li>\n<li>cambios en las u\u00f1as<\/li>\n<li>n\u00e1useas<\/li>\n<li>neuropat\u00eda (problemas en manos y pies)<\/li>\n<li>cambios en el gusto y el olfato<\/li>\n<li>sequedad vaginal<\/li>\n<li>v\u00f3mitos<\/li>\n<li>cambios de peso<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Si existiera una peque\u00f1a posibilidad, digamos 2%, de que pudieras contraer c\u00e1ncer de mama por tomar la p\u00edldora, \u00bfintentar\u00edas evitarlo? \u00bfY una probabilidad de 10%? \u00bfLo evitar\u00eda con toda seguridad? \u00bfY 30%? A <a href=\"http:\/\/naturalwomanhood.us7.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5f3e70721e5e9b79cea11fbe5&amp;id=1797405dcc&amp;e=5f480fa70c\">nuevo estudio<\/a> nos dice que es de 50% o m\u00e1s para la mayor\u00eda de los tipos de p\u00edldoras, a excepci\u00f3n de las de dosis bajas.<\/p>\n<p>Lo tr\u00e1gico es que se est\u00e1 produciendo un aumento del c\u00e1ncer de mama en mujeres j\u00f3venes. 1 de cada 173 mujeres estadounidenses padecer\u00e1 c\u00e1ncer de mama antes de cumplir los 40, seg\u00fan <a href=\"http:\/\/naturalwomanhood.us7.list-manage1.com\/track\/click?u=5f3e70721e5e9b79cea11fbe5&amp;id=ed3e23ec6c&amp;e=5f480fa70c\">otro estudio<\/a> que tambi\u00e9n muestra que cuatro veces m\u00e1s mujeres tuvieron una forma metast\u00e1sica de c\u00e1ncer en 2008 en comparaci\u00f3n con 1976.
