Quienes practican el conocimiento de la fertilidad saben que, en lo que respecta a nuestros ciclos, hay pocas cosas est\u00e1ticas: las hormonas de la mujer siempre est\u00e1n en movimiento, lo que provoca dolor, manchado a mitad del ciclo y sensibilidad en los senos, entre otros s\u00edntomas.<\/p>\n<p>Todo esto puede resultar abrumador si no se entiende por qu\u00e9 suceden estas cosas y, por desgracia, demasiadas mujeres j\u00f3venes siguen sin tener informaci\u00f3n sobre la fertilidad. Afortunadamente, en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas se ha investigado mucho para comprender c\u00f3mo funciona el sistema reproductor femenino, por qu\u00e9 se producen s\u00edntomas como los mencionados anteriormente y c\u00f3mo se pueden tratar con <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/aprender\/metodos-anticonceptivos-naturales\/#natural-methods\">m\u00e9todos basados en el conocimiento de la fertilidad<\/a> (FABM).<\/p>\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de las mujeres j\u00f3venes entienden que un periodo, o <a href=\"http:\/\/americanpregnancy.org\/getting-pregnant\/understanding-ovulation\/\">menstruaci\u00f3n<\/a>es la hemorragia mensual, que suele durar entre 3 y 7 d\u00edas, durante la cual se desprende el revestimiento del \u00fatero, o endometrio. Este revestimiento se ha ido formando a lo largo del ciclo anterior, como preparaci\u00f3n para la implantaci\u00f3n de un \u00f3vulo fecundado.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando no se produce el embarazo, la mujer puede esperar que el periodo empiece unos 28 d\u00edas (o incluso hasta 35) despu\u00e9s del \u00faltimo, con sus molestos s\u00edntomas y todo. Si la mujer <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/aprender\/conoce-tu-cuerpo-2\/\">traza su ciclo<\/a> con un <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/aprender\/empezar\/\">FABM<\/a> Bajo la direcci\u00f3n de un instructor formado, puede aprender cu\u00e1ndo esperar esos s\u00edntomas y cu\u00e1l es la mejor manera de gestionarlos.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"1-ovulation-pain\">1. Dolor de ovulaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>El ciclo es mucho m\u00e1s que la regla. Un momento cr\u00edtico es lo que se conoce como ovulaci\u00f3n, es decir, la liberaci\u00f3n de un \u00f3vulo del ovario a la trompa de Falopio. (Suele ocurrir en torno a los 14 d\u00edas del ciclo, pero su momento puede variar y, por tanto, afectar a la duraci\u00f3n del ciclo en general). En el transcurso del viaje del \u00f3vulo, la pared del ovario se rompe, lo que puede causar dolor. La mujer tambi\u00e9n puede experimentar dolor relacionado con la contracci\u00f3n muscular de la trompa de Falopio, que cumple su funci\u00f3n de ayudar al \u00f3vulo a llegar a su destino, el \u00fatero. El dolor puede variar desde una punzada moment\u00e1nea a calambres durante unas horas o hasta dos d\u00edas. El dolor de la ovulaci\u00f3n, o <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/tablas-y-remedios-naturales-para-el-mittelschmerz\/\"><em>mittelschmerz <\/em><\/a>(en alem\u00e1n, \"dolor en el medio\"), no interfiere en las actividades cotidianas y no suele ser motivo de preocupaci\u00f3n. Hemorragia periovulatoria<\/h3>\n<p>El manchado durante la ovulaci\u00f3n, denominado \"hemorragia periovulatoria\", tambi\u00e9n es frecuente y no suele ser motivo de preocupaci\u00f3n. El seguimiento del ciclo basado en biomarcadores como la temperatura corporal basal o el moco cervical puede ayudar a la mujer a identificar el d\u00eda de la ovulaci\u00f3n y a confirmar que el sangrado es normal.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"3-breast-tenderness\">3. Sensibilidad mamaria<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/breast-premenstrual-tenderness-and-swelling#symptoms\">Dolor o pesadez <\/a>en los senos suele producirse en los \u00faltimos d\u00edas del ciclo de la mujer, justo antes de que le venga la regla. El estr\u00f3geno, que alcanza su m\u00e1ximo en la mitad del ciclo, hace que los conductos mamarios se agranden, mientras que la progesterona, que aumenta durante la \u00faltima semana del ciclo, hace que las gl\u00e1ndulas mamarias se hinchen, ambas en preparaci\u00f3n para un posible embarazo. Al igual que ocurre con el dolor ovulatorio, este dolor puede tratarse con medicamentos de venta libre. Las mujeres que experimentan este s\u00edntoma tambi\u00e9n pueden optar por llevar un sujetador con m\u00e1s soporte (incluso por la noche); limitar la cafe\u00edna, el alcohol y los alimentos grasos y salados en la semana previa a la menstruaci\u00f3n; y tomar suplementos de vitamina E y magnesio para aliviar este s\u00edntoma.<\/p>\n<p>Otros s\u00edntomas comunes son los cambios de humor, la hinchaz\u00f3n y un mayor sentido del olfato. Todos ellos est\u00e1n relacionados con la <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/como-afecta-el-estres-al-ciclo-menstrual-conocimiento-de-la-fertilidad-fabm-nfp-05052018\/\">cambio hormonal<\/a> que desencadena la ovulaci\u00f3n y son completamente normales. Cuando se comprenden mejor, pueden reconocerse no como temidas cargas, sino m\u00e1s bien como se\u00f1ales de que las cosas funcionan como deben.<\/p>\n<p>Seguir el ciclo de una mujer es algo m\u00e1s que marcar el inicio de la menstruaci\u00f3n en un calendario y esperar a que se repita el mes siguiente.
