Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 te dice realmente un gr\u00e1fico del ciclo? \u00bfQu\u00e9 tipo de informaci\u00f3n buscar\u00e1 un profesional de la salud reproductiva en tu gr\u00e1fico si buscas ayuda m\u00e9dica?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Nota: la informaci\u00f3n que figura a continuaci\u00f3n se aplica a las mujeres que no se encuentran en una estaci\u00f3n de transici\u00f3n como la perimenopausia o el posparto).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-are-you-ovulating-monitoring-your-fifth-vital-sign\"><span id=\"are-you-ovulating-monitoring-your-fifth-vital-sign\">\u00bfEst\u00e1 ovulando? Control de tu \"quinto signo vital\"<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lo primero y m\u00e1s importante que puede decirte un gr\u00e1fico de ciclo es si est\u00e1s ovulando o no. Acu\u00f1ado   <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/entrevista-con-lisa-hendrickson-jack-quinto-viernes-vital-de-la-fertilidad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\"el quinto signo vital,\"<\/a> La ovulaci\u00f3n es un bar\u00f3metro esencial del bienestar de la mujer. La ovulaci\u00f3n indica unos niveles adecuados de hormona foliculoestimulante (FSH) y hormona luteinizante (LH), una acumulaci\u00f3n adecuada de estr\u00f3genos y al menos una cantidad m\u00ednima de progesterona (puede tener <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/la-progesterona-baja-es-un-gran-problema-pms-pmdd-infertilidad-aborto-espontaneo-depresion-posparto-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">progesterona baja<\/a> y sigue ovulando).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tres biomarcadores son altamente sugestivos de ovulaci\u00f3n. El primero, <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/fam-basic-que-es-el-moco-cervical\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">moco cervical<\/a> Las observaciones registradas en el gr\u00e1fico deben reflejar una desecaci\u00f3n definitiva tras un periodo de pico de mucosidad. Por lo tanto, registrar algunos o todos estos biomarcadores de la ovulaci\u00f3n en tu gr\u00e1fica puede darte una imagen clara de tu salud hormonal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Curiosamente, si est\u00e1s ovulando, est\u00e1s teniendo una verdadera menstruaci\u00f3n, ya que la ovulaci\u00f3n hace que el revestimiento del \u00fatero se acumule. El desprendimiento del revestimiento es visible como menstruaci\u00f3n. Seg\u00fan <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/guia-completa-de-metodos-para-conocer-la-fertilidad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FEMM<\/a> par\u00e1metros, cualquier ciclo de entre 24-36 d\u00edas de duraci\u00f3n se considera normal. Un ciclo de 24-36 d\u00edas nos indica que el estr\u00f3geno est\u00e1 aumentando adecuadamente y, con suerte, que la progesterona est\u00e1 manteniendo un nivel lo suficientemente alto durante un periodo de tiempo adecuado. Aunque la duraci\u00f3n del ciclo no lo es todo, y seguimos queriendo saber qu\u00e9 ocurre realmente en esos 24-36 d\u00edas, es sin duda una pieza importante del rompecabezas de tu salud hormonal. Los ciclos de m\u00e1s de 36 d\u00edas sugieren que <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/cuatro-formas-de-inducir-la-ovulacion-de-forma-natural-regular-los-ciclos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">se retrasa la ovulaci\u00f3n<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-biomarkers-from-your-ovulatory-phase-what-a-healthy-pattern-should-look-like\"><span id=\"biomarkers-from-your-ovulatory-phase-what-a-healthy-pattern-should-look-like\">Biomarcadores de la fase ovulatoria: C\u00f3mo debe ser un patr\u00f3n saludable<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La fase ovulatoria (parte de la fase <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/fundamentos-de-la-fam-que-es-la-fase-folicular\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fase folicular<\/a> que comprende la primera mitad del ciclo, aproximadamente) se inicia una vez finalizada la menstruaci\u00f3n. Debe haber un aumento agradable y constante de estr\u00f3genos durante la semana previa a la ovulaci\u00f3n. El aumento debe ser claro, sin altibajos. Si los d\u00edas de fluido estrog\u00e9nico se intercalan con d\u00edas secos, algo est\u00e1 impidiendo el aumento de estr\u00f3genos.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-monitoring-your-luteal-phase-keeping-tabs-on-your-progesterone\"><span id=\"monitoring-your-luteal-phase-keeping-tabs-on-your-progesterone\">Control de la fase l\u00fatea = control de la progesterona<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/naturalwomanhood-org-fam-basics-fase-lutea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fase l\u00fatea<\/a> consiste en los d\u00edas que siguen a la ovulaci\u00f3n hasta la siguiente menstruaci\u00f3n (regla). La fase l\u00fatea suele ser bastante estable de un ciclo a otro y en ella predomina la progesterona. Esta fase suele durar entre 9 y 16 d\u00edas. Para las mujeres a partir de los 30 a\u00f1os, as\u00ed como para las madres lactantes, se considera normal que las fases l\u00fateas sean m\u00e1s cortas. Por lo dem\u00e1s, una fase l\u00fatea no deber\u00eda durar menos de 12 d\u00edas. Si la fase l\u00fatea es inferior a 12 d\u00edas, la mujer suele experimentar dolores de cabeza y otros s\u00edntomas del s\u00edndrome premenstrual, como sensibilidad en los senos, depresi\u00f3n o ansiedad.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/fam-basics-progesterona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Progesterona<\/a> es la contrapartida de <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/que-es-la-hormona-estrogeno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">estr\u00f3geno<\/a>. Aunque el estr\u00f3geno suele ocupar el primer plano en los debates sobre las hormonas femeninas por sus efectos estimulantes del estado de \u00e1nimo y la libido, la progesterona desempe\u00f1a un papel igual de importante en la salud reproductiva de la mujer. La progesterona (que literalmente significa pro- gestaci\u00f3n) ayuda a preparar el cuerpo para el embarazo y equilibra los efectos estimulantes del estr\u00f3geno, lo cual es importante independientemente de la intenci\u00f3n de embarazo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En los niveles adecuados, la progesterona alivia, repara y cura. Una fase l\u00fatea acortada, con o sin sangrado intermenstrual (sangrado que se produce fuera de la menstruaci\u00f3n), es un signo revelador de <a href=\"https:\/\/naturalwomanhood.org\/es\/la-progesterona-baja-es-un-gran-problema-pms-pmdd-infertilidad-aborto-espontaneo-depresion-posparto-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">progesterona baja<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-your-period-is-trying-to-tell-you-about-your-health\"><span id=\"what-your-period-is-trying-to-tell-you-about-your-health\">Lo que tu menstruaci\u00f3n quiere decirte sobre tu salud<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La menstruaci\u00f3n es la parte m\u00e1s familiar del ciclo para muchas mujeres. Aunque no hayan registrado sus biomarcadores propiamente dichos, han convivido con la menstruaci\u00f3n desde la pubertad. En general, seg\u00fan los par\u00e1metros de la FEMM, el sangrado menstrual debe durar entre 4 y 7 d\u00edas, con no m\u00e1s de tres d\u00edas de sangrado abundante, definido como la necesidad de cambiarse el producto menstrual cada dos horas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La calidad de la menstruaci\u00f3n es una parte muy f\u00e1cil de controlar e informativa de tu historial porque es literalmente el subproducto de los niveles de estr\u00f3geno y progesterona del ciclo anterior. Las hemorragias abundantes suelen ir acompa\u00f1adas de una exposici\u00f3n prolongada a los estr\u00f3genos, ya que \u00e9stos son responsables de la proliferaci\u00f3n del endometrio. El sangrado debe ser de color rojo brillante, no marr\u00f3n, con co\u00e1gulos m\u00ednimos o inexistentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-when-to-seek-outside-help\"><span id=\"when-to-seek-outside-help\">Cu\u00e1ndo buscar ayuda externa<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Si cree que su ciclo no es el adecuado en alguno de estos aspectos, com\u00e9nteselo a un educador certificado en Fertility Awareness o a un m\u00e9dico especialista en Medicina Reproductiva Restaurativa (RRM). Si acaba de empezar a registrar su ciclo, sepa que hay una curva de aprendizaje.
